Abstract

Nowadays, plastic waste management has become an international issue. Plastic waste that is not managed will end up in the ocean and cause dangerous pollution. Environmental issues were agreed to be one of the SDGs goals proclaimed in 2015 by all countries members of the United Nations. All countries, including Indonesia, have implemented various pro-environment policies. One of them is through fiscal policy. How to determine the right fiscal policy so that the management of plastic waste to realize a sustainable pattern of plastic production and consumption to be optimal is important. One of them is by conducting comparative studies on the fiscal policy of plastic waste management in various countries as a policy benchmark. It is what the author did. This research uses a qualitative approach with a comparative study method regarding the form of fiscal policy in various countries used to manage plastic waste. This research data was obtained through literature studies from various journals, articles, and reports on fiscal policy of plastic waste management in various countries and then concluded various similarities and differences. It is hoped that studying various forms of fiscal policy in various countries can provide input to the Indonesian government on the right form of fiscal policy to create a sustainable pattern of plastic production and consumption in accordance with the SDGs goals to be achieved by the Indonesian government.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find determinants of profit management (Earnings Management) such as the number of board of commissioners, the size of the company, the risk monitoring committee, and the financial performance of a company. The current study uses banking sector financial statement data recorded at Bank Indonesia (BI) with selective sampling methods that meet survey criteria. Researchers examined a period of five years using a sample of 120 data from 24 banking sector entities. The study used several methods of linear analysis with secondary data types. This study shows that the size of the board of commissioners, the size of the company, and the risk monitoring committee, and the ROA jointly affect profit management. The size of the board of commissioners and the size of the company individually do not indicate any influence on profit management. Individual risk monitoring committees affect profit management and ROAs individually have a positive influence on profit management.

Abstract

The development of E-Insurance in its match was a development of the Electronic Insurance Policy Agreement or Jo. E-Polis. The insurance agreement or written policy as stipulated by OJK Regulation on Insurance Products and Insurance Product Marketing as an rationing of the Code of Commercial as a special norm of the understanding of Insurance Policy. Unlike the Electronic Insurance Policy Agreement or E-Polis was accommodated by OJK Regulation on Insurance in 2015, E-Insurance developed as a result of insurance needs for electronic or e-commerce trading transactions that do not yet had special arrangements. This was because in E-Insurance, the business’ person did not make hardcopy either the Insurance Policy Agreement or the policy agreement to be further conveyed to the customer or the insured. Furthermore, the Evidentiary Power E-Insurance in the Civil Procedural Law could not be equated: as a means of proof of letter because the parties in the proof cannot show the original (hardcopy). At least judges under Article 10 of the Court of Justice Power Act could categorize E-Insurance as a means of proof of guessing, because the parties in the evidence could not show the original (hardcopy). Thus, a law-level rule was required a law that can accommodate E-Insurance related to proof of civil justice.

Abstract

Validity is one of the important characteristics in any psychological measuring tool. Measurement tools in his research more generally include a variety of observations and usually include responses that aim to regulate and limit the choices available to respondents and assessments. There are many studies that have assessed how the number of response options on a scale affects validity and reliability, but fewer have discussed whether the midpoint should be included as a response option, or whether the scale is even. Regardless of where the response scale is in psychological measurements, the environmental personality (big-five personality) scale has been expanded and elaborated in various ways in previous research since the introduction of dreams. The big-five personality model is the most extensive model for measuring environmental personality. This study aims to determine whether there is a difference between the number of odd and even option scales on the validity variance of students' environmental personality (big-five personality) items, and to see which scale of the number of options is better or suitable for the environmental personality (big-five personality) instrument. The calculation data were analyzed using the one-way ANOVA method. The results of this study indicate that the scale of the number of odd options (five options) and the scale of the number of even options differ significantly in the variance of the validity of the environmental personality items (big-five Personality). The mean plot results show that the odd option scale higher than the even scale. This research can be carried out for further research in using the odd scale on the environmental personality measurement tool (Big-five Personality) with the expansion being studied.
